Add your own Welcome message or Notice on startup your computer

Do you want to set a Welcome Message or Notice at the time your computer on? Here simple and nice tips on how you can add/set a Welcome Message or Notice while your computer turned on. If there are many user of your computer of you have a guest account on, then you can set a Message or Notice to remind them to enter their password or open the guest account.

Here a sample Welcome Message which I’ve set on my computer-


Hello, Welcome.
Enter your password under your username if you are a user of this computer. If not, open the "Guest" account   by clicking the username- "Guest".

To set your own Message or Notice, just follow these simple steps-
  1. Go to Run and type regedit and press Enter.
  2. When a new window appear, click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  3. Then click and go to- Software > Microsoft > Windows NT > Current Version > Winlogon
  4. From the right side menu, double click on- Legal Notice Caption. A box will appear. Write the heading of your message (Such as- Hello, Welcome, Notice etc.) and click Ok.
  5. Now double click on- Legal Notice Text. A box will appear. Write your whole message there and click Ok.
    That’s all. Now every time you or your user/guest will see this message at the time of startup the computer. To remove/disable this message, just go to the same procedure and erase those messages.
