simple and nice tips on how you can add/set a Welcome Message or Notice while
your computer turned on. If there are many user of your computer of you have a
guest account on, then you can set a Message or Notice to remind them to enter
their password or open the guest account.
Here
a sample Welcome Message which I’ve set on my computer-
Hello, Welcome.
Enter your password under your username if
you are a user of this computer. If not, open the "Guest"
account by clicking the username-
"Guest".
Thanks .
To
set your own Message or Notice, just follow these simple steps-
- Go to Run and type regedit and press Enter.
- When a new window appear, click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
- Then click and go to- Software > Microsoft > Windows NT > Current Version > Winlogon
- From the right side menu, double click on- Legal Notice Caption. A box will appear. Write the heading of your message (Such as- Hello, Welcome, Notice etc.) and click Ok.
- Now double click on- Legal Notice Text. A box will appear. Write your whole message
there and click Ok.
That’s all. Now every time you or your user/guest will see this message at the time of startup the computer. To remove/disable this message, just go to the same procedure and erase those messages.
